Additional information about Teams, Time Slots, and more.

TEAMS

Teams must have 8 or more players. We reserve the right to adjust or change any team up to and on game day. No teams are exclusive. If you are entering a team of 5, 6 or 7 players, we may add a few players to your team. Teams may not add new or additional players on game day.

We always reserve the right to add players to a team. Sometimes we need to fit people in that want to play as much as everyone else and have a great time with the young man they are with. With that said, we also try to avoid adding too many people to a team. Our goal is make it a great day for everyone involved.

If the team you are entering is more dominant than the team you are playing against and your team is not playing with a sense of fun, honor and respect for others, then the Field General will invoke the The Respect Rule to equalize the game. The goal of the F&SB is for all players to have a fun time, especially the boys.

Signing up a team under ONE registration form. 

If signing up everyone together, a team captain will be responsible for gathering all registration info and payment for each player on his team. Below is the info you need for each player you sign up.

  • First and Last Name
  • Age
  • Shirt Size
  • Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
  • Relationship (to you or other adult on team)

Signing up a team under SEPARATE registration forms. 

If signing up team members separately, each registration needs to indicate all the other adult’s names that they are playing with. One adult from each team needs to be indicated as a captain (for event information purposes). If team members do not sign up within 3 days of each other, then they will not be able to play together. Also, be sure that everyone indicates the same Time Slot choices.

Reserve your own game!

If you have enough players for 2 teams, you can have your own game. A minimum of 16 players is required to reserve a full game. We always reserve the right to add players to a game. Sometimes we need to fit people in that want to play as much as everyone else and have a great time with the young man they are with. With that said, we also try to avoid adding too many people to a game. Our goal is make it a great day for everyone involved. No game is exclusive. Game reservations are based on field availability.

You will need to come up with a name for your game. For example, the Mud Men game. When the players in your game sign up, be sure that they indicate (in the teams section of the registration form) that they want to be in the “Mud Men” game.  IMPORTANT: Be sure that everyone has agreed to the same Time Slot preferences prior to registering.  We will schedule the game based on the organizer’s preferences if any of the players have different preferences. Additional players cannot be added on game day or after the registration deadline. The game organizer needs to email Caree@FatherSonBowl.com a list of everyone in your game.

TIME SLOTS

You may be assigned your 1st, 2nd or 3rd preference. We work hard to assign you to your 1st or 2nd preference. However, due to the volume of players and Time Slot requests, we occasionally have to assign players to their 3rd preference. Early registrants get time slot preferences over later registrants.

Once games are set, assigned game times and players cannot be changed. If you cannot participate at your assigned time then your registration will be forfeited/cancelled. No refunds.

If you can only play during one Time Slot, please check availability with Caree@FatherSonBowl.com BEFORE registering because there are no refunds.

The Wednesday before game day (maybe sooner) the primary registrant will be emailed their specific game Round time. It will also be posted on this website in Game Times under Player Info. Every player must sign in at their designated time or their spots will be forfeited to standby players and will not be refunded their entry fee.


RECRUITING CHALLENGE

2 FREE tickets to a Titans home game for the 2018 player that recruits the most NEW/ROOKIE players. 6 rookie minimum to qualify. Just email Darin@FatherSonBowl.com your final list by January 30, 2018 to enter. Entrant and all submitted rookies must play on game day in order to be counted. The winner will be verified and announced on game day. The winner will also receive the coveted 2018 Scout of the Year trophy. Start scouting!
